I really enjoyed staying indoors all day grading your research reports with the steady rain as a backdrop! I don’t think we get nearly enough rain here in sunny southern California.
What about you?
- Do you like the rain?
- What do you like to do on a rainy day?

Wow! You win for the coolest avatar:-) We have been getting pounded with rain and are a little tired of it. Spring break is next week for us and we all want to get outside and dry off in some warm sun. We do like the rain, usually, because we like the sound and the fresh smell after it stops. We can also see snow on our local mountains. Can you see snow from where you are?
Mr. Miller and Class
Hi Mr. Miller’s class,
Yes, I can imagine getting sick of the rain if we had too much of it. As it is down here in soCal, we only get storms that lasts for about 2-3 days a couple of times a year. So I tend to relish those days when it is not over 80 degrees and so sunny you need shades and sunblock….
I hope you get some sun next week for your spring break so you can enjoy the great outdoors!
There was snow on the local mountains a little while ago, but now they are just green, which is also a rarity. Over here, everything is usually brown and dry, thus the fire hazards/danger.
Thanks for visiting! We hope to hear from you again soon.
I absolutely LOVE the rain! I think it’s so soothing how you go to bed and could hear the rain tapping against your window! I usually love to sleep, read, drink hot chocolate, watch a movie, or tell ghost stories in the rain. I also like to go outside and play in the rain (I like to get wet). I hope you’re feeling better and that you come back soon! Room 27 misses you!
In my opinion, the rain is awful. I really do hate it. The only part that I like about the rain is that my dad does not go to work and he takes me to school in his car, nowalking. on rainy days I like to stay home and sometimes I take really long naps, when we do not have much homework and I have time. anyways, i hope that you feel better and i really miss you. i can not waite until after spring Break is over.
I agree about hating rain. I like how it waters our plants for free and all that, but I really don’t like how the rain makes everything so monotone.
Hi Miss Nichols!
I think you know that as a project our groups had to create something that talked about one of ancient China’s new ideas. My group did a play on Confucianism, and I was wondering if I could put the script on my blog.
Get well soon!

Janis, of course you can put the script on your blog. Anything that you do for school can go on there! It is a way to showcase your learning, so please, feel free to put it up.
