How can you find and support a theme in literature?
- Read “All-American Slurp” Lit. p. 118-127
- Answer questions on p. 128 (1-5) in your spiral
Per. 2 – Writing Workshop (9:08-9:58)
How will you be assessed on your Problem-Solution Essay?
- Go over rubric for Argumentative Essay
- Watch revising videos: 1, 2, 3, 4
- Tomorrow you will revise, proofread, and edit your essay on the computers
Today’s HW:
1. Read 30 pages in a book of your choice and log in agenda: title, pages read, summary, and parent’s signature.
2. Start revising (improving) your 4+ paragraph problem-solution essay.
3. Finish answering FTM questions up to Ch. 21.
Per. 3 (10:03-10:42)
Read FTM Ch. 20-21 and do Study Guide questions.
