Description of . Sammy Zidani, 6th grade tug of war. Every year, Addams Middle School in Lawndale has an end-of-the-year event where kids compete in feats of strengths -- relay races, tire rolling and tug-of-war. But this year the athletic events known as the Bengal Bowl will double as a goodbye celebration for principal Frank Noyes, who is retiring after 30-some years. (June 5, 2014. P.S. How did you enjoy Bengal Bowl Day?
