Good Morning, Readers and Writers!
Take out:
- Agenda, open to last night’s reading
- Language Arts spiral and green folder from bin
- Book(s) to read
You should be in your seat reading or updating your green folder by the second bell.
Per. 1 – Reading Workshop (8:15-9:05)
- 30 minutes of independent reading
- Calculating and graphing P1 GPA from grades
Per. 2 – Writing Workshop (9:08-9:58)
How will I explain to my parent(s) my strengths and needs at our conference?
- Write a letter to read to your parent to open the conference
- Be sure to explain: What you have been doing well and what specific steps you will take to improve.
Today’s HW:
1. Read 30 minutes a day and log in agenda: Title, pages read, 1-2 sentence summary, parent signature.
2. Keep writing your memoir story until it is about a page and a half.
