Good Morning, Class!

  • Any late work (see if your name is on board)

Warm-Up:

  • Study the information on p. 55: Determine Central Idea and Determine Details
  • Analyze Style (in TE p. 58a)

After you finish and submit your “In the Spotlight” Quiz (you have to click “Score My Test”), you may choose one of the following activities related to the article:

  • Write an Advice Letter to someone who has glossophobia (on my.hrw.com under assignments or p. 56)
  • Analyze the Text, Critical Vocab, Suffixes That Form Nouns, Possessive Pronouns (my.hrw.com assignments or p. 56-58)
  • Level Up Tutorial on Main Idea and Supporting Details (my.hrw.com assignments)
