Connect:

Last week we learned about unequal opportunities for African American people in society and students in schools in the South. But what was happening right here in California?

Continue reading A Tale of Two Schools and answering comprehension questions:

  • Read questions carefully.
  • Be sure you are answering exactly what each question asks.
  • Provide enough specific details and evidence to answer each question completely.

Homework:

  1. Read 25+ pages in a chapter book of your choice and log:
    1. Title
    2. Pg. ___ to ___
    3. Two sentences about your reading
    4. Parent signature
  2. Re-read second page of article and complete answers to 12-18.
