# Welcome to Math!

• Module 11 (12/13) packet
• Chromebook
• math spiral
• pencil

### Warm Up:

E: Do 11.4 Explore Activity: Using Inequalities to Describe Quantities, p. 321 with partner.

A: Check in on 13.4 / Module 13.

### Expected – 11.4: Writing Inequalities, p. 321

Learning Target: Students will be able to write an inequality of the form x > c or x < c to represent a constraint or condition in a real-world or mathematical problem. Students will also recognize that inequalities of the form x > c or x < c have infinitely many solutions and represent these solutions on number line diagrams.

• Do 11.4 ISE: Watch all videos, take notes in packet, do Reflect and Your Turn questions.

### Accelerated – 13.4: Area of Polygons, p. 391

Learning Target: Students will be able to find the area of right triangles and other triangles, special quadrilaterals, and polygons by composing into rectangles or decomposing into triangles and other shapes, and apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.

• Do 13.4 Explore Activity, p. 391 w/ a partner
• Do 13.4 ISE: Take notes in packet, do all Reflect and Your Turn questions.

### Homework:

Extra Credit opportunities: p. 135-136, 141-142, 167-168, 199-200, 225-226, 231-232, 257-258, 285-286, 291-292.

Remember, the Manga High Ninja Competition is going on. You may do any of the games you like after you finish your homework!

E: Finish everything on dashboard up to and including 11.4 Practice.
