Warm Up:

E: Do 11.4 Practice.

A: Do p. 400-401 and read p. 402, if you have not. Do 14.1 Explore Activity p. 403 with a partner, then ISE, take notes.

Expected – 11.4: Writing Inequalities, p. 321

Learning Target copy

Learning Target: Students will be able to write an inequality of the form x > c or x < c to represent a constraint or condition in a real-world or mathematical problem. Students will also recognize that inequalities of the form x > c or x < c have infinitely many solutions and represent these solutions on number line diagrams.

  • Ask for 11.4 Quiz when you have passed the Practice.

Accelerated – 14.1

Learning Target copy

Learning Target: Students will be able to solve real-world and mathematical problems by graphing points in all four quadrants of the coordinate plane, including the use of coordinates and absolute value to find distances between points with the same first or second coordinate.

  • Do 14.1 Practice.
  • Ask for 14.1 Quiz when ready.


Extra Credit opportunities: p. 135-136, 141-142, 167-168, 199-200, 225-226, 231-232, 257-258, 285-286, 291-292.
