E: Color in polygons to prepare for 13.1 Explore Activities

A: Review last work done before SBAC testing (16.2?)

Expected – 13.1: Area of Quadrilaterals, p. 373

Learning Target: Students will be able to find the area of right triangles, other triangles, special quadrilaterals, and polygons by composing into rectangles or decomposing into triangles and other shapes, and apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.

Do 13.1 Explore Activity: Area of a Parallelogram, p. 373-374

Use polygon pieces as you do 13.1 ISE:

  • Take notes in packet
  • Do all Your Turn and Reflect questions
  • Do orange and red whistle exercises on ISE.

 

Accelerated – 16.3: Box Plots, p. 465

Learning Target copy

 

Learning Target: Students will be able to display numerical data in plots on a number line, including box plots.

Do 16.3 ISE:

  • Take notes in packet
  • Do all Your Turn and Reflect questions
  • Do orange and red whistle exercises on ISE.

Ask for 16.3 Practice when ready.
