Learning Target: Students will be able to read and understand informational text by using context clues to figure out the meanings of new words and finding main ideas and details.
Freedom Walkers Ch. 5 – Boycott Heroes
- As you read the chapter, pay attention to new words and try to decipher their meanings using context clues
- Also find a passage that jumps out at you and be prepared to say why
