Warm Up – Number Talk #3: What is 0.52 x 789?
- No calculators, talking or writing of any kind
- 1 minute independent think time
- 1 minute partner/table share

Expected – 9.3: Order of Operations, p. 251-254
Learning Target: Students will be able to evaluate numerical expressions involving whole-number exponents.
- Do 9.3 ISE (Do packet p. 251-254 while watching lesson and videos, then do orange and red whistles)
Accelerated – 11.4: Writing Inequalities
Learning Target: Students will be able to write an inequality of the form x > c or x < c to represent a constraint or condition in a real-world or mathematical problem and recognize that such inequalities have infinitely many solutions, which is why they are represented on number line diagrams.
