Good Morning, Class!
Please take out:

Learning Target: Students will be able to use their research and note-taking in order to draft an argumentative essay.
Open Argumentative Organizer and Draft doc on Classroom:
- Work on body paragraph #3 and Conclusion (should be finished with entire draft by end of period)
- Do more research as necessary
- Use the Word Bank and Transition Word List for examples of Academic Vocabulary

Open Commonly Confused Words: Affect, Effect assignment on StudySync:
- Define: Read definitions out loud as a class
- Model: Read and study with partner
- Your Turn: Independently complete all three pages of questions carefully, referring back to the lesson as necessary
- Submit assignment when finished

- Be sure all paragraphs of essay draft are finished.
