Tuesday 3/20/18 – Math

Welcome to Math!

Please take out:

  • Module 12 (15) packet
  • math spiral
  • pencil
  • Chromebook / earbuds

Warm Up: Between 2 Numbers #7

  • How do you understand the question? Talk to your neighbor.
  • Make a guess. Write this down.
  • What facts would you need to know? Look them up on the Internet.
  • How can we compare the two rates? What kind of math do we need to do?

Expected – 12.2: Independent and Dependent Variables in Tables and Graphs, p. 339-344

Learning Target: Students will be able to use variables to represent two quantities in a real-world problem that change in relationship to one another and write an equation relating the dependent and independent variables.

  • Do 12.2 ISE: Complete packet p. 339-344 while viewing lesson and videos, then do orange and red whistles.

Learning Target: Students will be able to represent three-dimensional figures using nets made up of rectangles and triangles, and use the nets to find the surface area of these figures.

  • Do 15.1 Quiz.
