Good Morning, Class!
Do Now: Please take out and be sure your name is on:

- Summer Reading Assignment
- Interest Inventory
- Class Commonalities sheet
Then read the letter from me that is on your desk.

Learning Target: Students will be able to demonstrate expected behaviors in and out of the classroom and to understand their benefits and consequences.
Behavior: What makes for a good learning environment?
- Code of Conduct
- Procedures: Out of Seat, Restrooms, Using Markers
- Find commonalities with classmates
Per. 2 (9:12-10:00)
Learning Target: Students will be able to find a “just right” book and read for comprehension. Students will be able to write a guided friendly letter.
- Procedure: Checking out class books
- Letter to Your Teacher directions
- Begin writing letter
- Label bins & folders
- Take out “What I Want to Read” list
- Find books to put on your list and one to check out
