IM 4.3: Interpreting Division Situations

Learning Target: Students will be able to decide whether a division question is asking “how many groups?” or “how many in each group?” by creating diagrams or writing equations that represent division and multiplication questions.

  • Warm-Up: Dot Image

Go to Classroom and add math code. Open 4.3 slides.

  • Activity: Homemade Jams
  • Activity: Making Granola
  • Cool-Down: Rice and Beans

Homework:

  1. Complete 4.3 slides and turn in on Classroom. (Are You Ready for More? section is Extra Credit.)
