  • Group 2: Continue research and note taking

Open Informational Text Elements assignment on StudySync

  • Define: What are Informational Text Elements?
  • Model: Read and annotate
  • Your Turn: Read the passage and answer the questions
  • Write: Apply what you learned about informational text elements

Homework:

  1. Read 25+ pages and log (on Biblionasium/Destiny):
    1. Title/author
    2. p. ____ to p. ____
    3. BTH (1-2 sentences: Who? What? When? Where?) + 1 visualization, thick question, use of context clues, or inference
  2. Finish Informational Text Elements and turn in on StudySync.
  3. Complete Academic Vocabulary L5 and turn in on StudySync (due Fri. 12/21).
