Friday 3/15/19 – Math

Welcome to Math!

Please come in quietly and take out:

  • pencil
  • Chromebook (for later)

Post-Unit 6: Expressions and Equations Assessment

Learning Target: Students will be able to independently apply what they have learned about expressions and equations.

Show all thinking on test paper!

  • You can use any of the strategies we have learned (double number lines, tape diagrams, tables, multiplying by the percent as a fraction or decimal)

When finished:

  • Go through Unit 6 in Classroom and make sure each assignment is saved in Kami.
  • Do assignments on Buzzmath.
  • Play games (3-5) or (6-8) on m.polyup.com: click on the person (top left), then #PolySpring2019 at the top, then Join Team and enter the code YaleJAMS.

Homework:

  1. Save all assignments in Kami and turn in on Classroom.
  2. Do assignments on Buzzmath.
  3. Go to m.polyup.com, click on the person (top left), then #PolySpring2019 at the top, then Join Team and enter the code YaleJAMS. You can play games (3-5) or (6-8) to earn Polycoins for the challenge!
