Per. 1 (8:15-9:05) – Language Arts
Learning Target: Students will be able to listen to a text and determine the author’s purpose, main ideas, details, and the relationships between them.
Open Listen & Interpret – Introduction (Jane Addams) assignment on Classroom
1. Listen and fill in words on the Cloze Read as the teacher reads the level 1 passage.
2. Complete the Central Idea questions as the teacher reads the level 2 passage.
Per. 2 (9:08-9:56)
Open Listening Comprehension Activities assignment on Classroom
- Choose an article that looks interesting.
- Click the link to go to the Google Form.
- Read the background information at the top, then click the link to open the news story page.
- Split screen the questions and audio.
- ACE required questions (you can start, stop, rewind audio while answering the questions).
- Bonus is Extra Credit!
Homework:
- Read 30+ pages and log on Biblionasium:
