  • Explain: How to Develop a Good Research Topic
  • Apply: Explore topics (do not pick one yet)

 

Per. 1 (11:36-12:50) – Language Arts

Please come in quietly, sit, and take out:

  • agenda
  • Chromebook
  • earbuds / headphones

Write Homework in Agenda:

  1. Read 20+ pages and log on Biblionasium:
    1. Title/author
    2. p. ____ to p. ____
    3. Big Thing that Happened (2-3 sentences: Who? What? When/Where? How? Why?) + 1 prior knowledge, question, prediction, inference, connection, or word you figured out using syntax/etymology/context clues
  2. Finish Figurative Language sheet (similes and metaphors).
  3. Charge Chromebook!

 

On Classroom, open ReadWorks and do Article-a-Day.

  • Follow directions and be prepared to share in 6 minutes.
