Tuesday 1/21/20 – Math

Welcome to Math!

Please come in quietly, sit, and take out:

  • A: headphones/ earbuds
  • agenda
  • math spiral
  • pencil
  • A: Chromebook

Write Homework in Agenda: 

E: Finish 8.1 ISE on my.hrw.com (turn in orange and red whistles).

A: Finish 10.3 ISE. (Assessment Readiness challenges when caught up.)

In spiral, write today’s date (in a box) and lesson title:

E: 8.1: Understanding Percent (Day 2)

A: 10.3: Generating Equivalent Expressions

Open Unit 4 Study Guide and write down unknown vocabulary words for 10.3.

  • Write definitions in spiral as you encounter them in lesson or look up in Glossary.

Expected – 8.1: Understanding Percent (Day 2)

Learning Target: Students will be able to find the percent of a quantity as a rate per 100 and solve problems involving finding the whole, given a part and a percent.

  • Complete orange and red whistles using supports (step-by-step/videos, notes from last time, & Unit 3 Study Guide) as needed.
