Second comment Mrs. Nichols class
Dear Susi, thank you for replying to my questions on your blog. Although I maybe too busy to join the contest, I’d love to hear back from you and see who wins. I might have to see how busy I am and I might just be able to find time to write a 200 word essay; you never know. Oh; and may the best essay win.

Hello Ms. Nichol’s Class,
I am so impressed with all of your blogging skills. I wanted to learn how to add shelfari to by blog, but I can’t figure it out. Can you give me some advice? I also liked how you used it for some group discussions. I would love to do that as well.

Hello Jackie,
I love Shelfari because it is so easy to use. If you already have a bookshelf made there, look over to the right on your personal home page to where it says “More Content”. At the bottom it says “Your Widgets”. Click that and it will take you to a screen that should have a button that reads “Create a New Widget”. Click that and then enter your blog’s URL in the box and click “Get Started”. Depending on your type of blog, you select the type (Edublogs select JavaScript) and follow the directions from there.
It looks like a lot of steps, but it’s actually quite easy to follow the steps on the screen.
Once the bookshelf appears on your blog, if the size is not right for the space it’s in, you can change that by editing the widget width.
Hope that helps you get started with the wonderful world of Shelfari!
Miss Nichols
Good Morning Ms. Nichols,
Jazmin is currently attending basketball on the weekends and they need a short progress report from her teacher. I know school just started, however is it possible for you to write a brief note for Jazmin so that she can turn it in?
Thank you,
Sandra

Hi Mrs. Sanchez,
Yes, I can write a note about how Jazmin is doing in school. I will give it to her today.
Thank you for writing,
Miss Nichols
Hi Miss Nochols,
I am Jazmin Sanchez mom, and I wanted to know if we are allowed to bring the kids to back to school night? Many schools say for only the parent to come, and I wasn’t sure what your policy was.
Thanks,
Sandra
Hello Mrs. Sanchez,
Yes, the students are welcome to attend Back-to-School Night with their parents. However, we will be having all of Team Princeton’s parents together for a while in Mr. Navarro’s room (rm. 23) from 6:20-7:00 or so, and it tends to get a bit crowded. Maybe the kids can play outside during that time to make room for the parents. After our Team meeting, I will be inviting the parents to my room (rm. 27) to learn more about how to use this blog and take questions pertaining to the GATE/Honors program.
Thank you for writing,
Miss Nichols
