INTRODUCTION TO SOCIAL STUDIES

This will lay the foundation of history as a collection of stories about the past, with an emphasis on making connections to similar issues today. We will explore what “ancient” means and the ways we have of finding out what happened so long ago. We will also begin learning what to do when we encounter new words or concepts and how to work with non-fiction text/materials.
