Write Homework in Agenda:

A: Do 13.2 ISE on my.hrw.com.

Assessment Readiness assignments for Extra Credit are due by Thurs. 2/27.

Learning Target: Students will be able to write expressions that record operations with numbers and with letters standing for numbers (variables).

    • Using Unit 4 Study Guide, take notes on green-blue-purple parts of lesson and all videos
  • On my.hrw.com, open 10.1: Your Turn assignment.
    • Do YT (9-10).
  • Open 10.1: Homework assignment.
    • Do HW (4, 15-23).

Accelerated – 13.2: Area of Triangles

Learning Target: Students will be able to find the area of right triangles, and other triangles by composing into rectangles, and apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.

On Classroom open Unit 6 Study Guide. Use link to access 13.2 ISE.

  • Take notes on green-blue-purple parts of lesson and videos
  • Color cut-out pieces and chart so same shapes match
  • Cut each one as they come up in lesson
  • Clip pieces together and save for rest of module
