Do Explore Activity: Modeling Equations, p. 313. Then discuss with partner.

Do 11.3 ISE: Take notes in packet and do all Reflect and Your Turn questions.

Accelerated – 13.3: Solving Area Equations, p. 385

Learning Target: Students will be able to find the area of right triangles and other triangles, special quadrilaterals, and polygons by composing into rectangles or decomposing into triangles and other shapes, and apply these techniques in the context of solving real-world and mathematical problems.

  • Do 13.3 Practice and ask for Quiz when finished.
