Good Morning, Class!
Please take out:
- Hatchet book and green folder from bin
Per. 1 (8:15-9:05) – Language Arts
Learning Target: Students will be able to notice details about a character’s words, actions, and thoughts in order to make important inferences.
Per. 2 (9:08-9:56) – Independent Reading/Fluency
Please take out:
- Reading Log
- independent reading book
Independent Reading/Fluency:
- Write today’s date, title/author, and page number you are starting on.
- Stay focused on your reading the entire time. If your eyes wander, bring them back to your book.
- When we are finished, write the page number you stopped on and a 1-2 sentence BTH. Add one place that you used a thinking strategy (visualizing, questioning, context clues) to deepen your understanding of what was happening in the book.
